Terms & Conditions

By creating a Retired account or using the Retired app or website (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions, which are also the end-user licence agreement (EULA) for the app. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Retired is a planning and tracking tool. It turns the goals you enter — a home, a car, your kid’s education, retirement, and similar — into a monthly funding plan using the numbers you provide (cost, target age, expected return) and simple projection math.

Retired is not a licensed financial advisor, broker, or fiduciary. Nothing in the Service is investment, tax, or legal advice. Projections are estimates based on assumptions you control (expected return, inflation, timelines) and are not guarantees of any future outcome. Always use your own judgment, and consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your account credentials confidential. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to access another user’s data, reverse-engineering the app, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

Parts of the Service let you post and share content with other members, including community posts, comments, chat messages and live-stream chat. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not post or send content that is harassing, bullying, threatening, hateful or discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, spam or scams, or that infringes someone else’s rights or breaks the law, and you must not impersonate or abuse other members.

You can report any post, comment or message, or the person who sent it, and block any member so you no longer see their content. We review every report within 24 hours. When content breaks these terms we remove it, and we suspend or permanently remove the account of the user who posted it.

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Danger zone → Delete account. This action is immediate and irreversible — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what is removed.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Retired is not liable for any financial decisions made using the Service, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from its use.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
